Tour de Park City Feature + Giveaway

Last year I had the opportunity to ride in the Tour de Park City. When I think back on last year’s event a smile always pops up onto my face. Here are a few highlights of last year’s ride.

The weather was optimal for the last Saturday in July, sunny with the temperature being low to mid-80s. The course was fun and challenging. There were some long climbs and some awesome descents. The view was breathtaking. It was great cycling around Jordanelle Reservoir…..blue skies, open fields and all the fresh air you could ask for.

Here are some of the reasons why you should participate in this year’s race.

  • The race offers the 157 mile Classic Road Race/Super Fondo, 100 Mile Gran Fondo, 50 Mile Medio Fondo and 15 Mile Piccolo Fondo. A distance for every rider!
  • The 157 Mile Road Race and the Junior 15 Mile Road Race are both USAC sanctioned and are part of the UCA Point Series.
  • The courses are both fun and challenging. Check out the course maps. Lots of climbing and high elevation. Are you up for the challenge?
  • The 157 miler is a great way to prepare for LOTOJA. 157 miles, over 7,000 feet of climbing and it reaches over 10,000 feet in elevation.
  • All of the courses are fully supported. Aid stations are frequent and well stocked.
